Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for over ten seasons. She was part of as captain of the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Final Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor workouts. On the balance beam Raisman was awarded the bronze medal. It made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics to earn the most medals. In 2016, she along with the teammate Gabby Doug were among the first Americans to take home back-to-back golds in team events. Silver medals were also awarded at the all-around event as well as floor workouts. Three years have passed since she last competed in gymnastics competitions. Additionally she was part of two gold medal-winning American team in gymnastics. She began learning gymnastics at the age of two and her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. Her future goals include expanding her trademark line of leotards. The book she is working on is titled Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
